{Recipe} Kale Protein Crêpes

It's Bank holiday today and so decided to make some kale protein crêpes using the new vegan protein powder that I've bought from Protein Pick & Mix. Don't be put off by the kale, this vegan protein made the crêpes so yummy!

This vegan protein is a blend of raw and sprouted quinoa, pea and hemp. I really like it as it doesn't have any artificial ingredients or ingredients that I can't pronounce. It is also packed with all natural antioxidants which includes acai, maca, coconut, pomegranate, gojiberries and other super fruits. See below. These super fruits makes this protein powder really tasty.

Moving on to the recipe of my Kale Protein Crêpes.

You will need:
- 1 cup of oats
- 2 egg whites
- a handful of kale leaves
- a handful of almond nuts (for an extra boost of protein plus vitamin E and mono fat)
- approx 250 ml oat milk
- 2 scoops of Gardenia vegan protein powder

Method:
1. Blend everything together until smooth.
2. Heat a non-stick pan with a bit of oil
3. Pour a bit of the batter and tilt the pan side to side until the batter is spread out and thin.
4. Cook each side for about 1 minute on low heat
5. I would recommend serve it with peanut butter and/ or almond butter with banana.

These crêpes are full of protein, fiber and green goodness. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did!
